The familiar biannual season is once again upon us as Republicans and Democrats compete for popular attention with myriads of colorful roadsigns and well funded media blitzes. There's less suspense this cycle without any presidential race, but the latest atrocious scandal, or at least the discovery of it after Republican Congressman Mark Foley's many years in office, has added some fire to the cheerleading masses.
